Salary: £60k (Negotiable depending on experience) per annum + pension

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities

Delivery
-
Consultancy projects across technical domains e.g. defence, space, energy, telecoms.

R&D projects with partner companies e.g. Semiconductor electronics, spaceflight operations, ground station networks.

Business Development
-
Maintaining relationships with customers and partners.

Building new relationships and winning new work.

Raising the company profile and promoting our activities.

Management
-
Sharing experience and knowledge with the rest of the team.

Mentoring other team members.

Supporting team members.

Reporting directly to CEO to identify opportunities, input into the company strategy and vision, and escalate issues.

All candidates for this role must have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications

Degree or equivalent.

Experience
-
Minimum five years’ experience working in the space industry.

Business development and project delivery experience.
-
Senior management experience or department lead.
-
Building new service lines, products and/or businesses.
-
Quality assurance and providing constructive feedback.

Preferred
-
Experience working in a startup environment or with startups and small businesses.
-
Exposure to raising finance through private or public investment.
-
Experience working in a consulting environment.
-
Providing training or knowledge transfer exercises.
-
Science-based degree.
