The Enterprise Fellowship Programme
Equipping academics to turn research into impactful ventures.
The Enterprise Fellowship Programme (EFP) supports academics who want to turn ideas, research, and innovation into real-world impact. Delivered by the University of Bradford in partnership with Exotopic, the programme brings together academic excellence and hands-on enterprise expertise to help fellows explore entrepreneurship as a credible and rewarding career pathway. Through practical training, mentoring, and a supportive community, EFP helps early-stage ideas grow into viable services, technologies, and products.

What the Fellowship Offers
Enterprise Fellows receive a structured yet flexible support experience designed to help them explore, test, and develop their ideas. Through the programme, fellows take part in interactive training sessions focused on enterprise and commercialisation, receive tailored mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and business owners, and gain access to sector specialists and expert advisors. The programme also offers practical tools, resources, and peer learning opportunities within a supportive cohort community, allowing fellows to apply learning directly to their ideas, refine their thinking, and build confidence as they move towards viable, impactful ventures.
